'The Book Thief'

My rating: 4 of 5 stars I downloaded the audiobook of 'The Book Thief' onto my iPod. This is the first time that I've done this and I think it made a difference in my 'reading experience'. A few times previously I've downloaded a book for a long car trip but my plan for this book was to listen to it while I worked out or was out running errands. 'The Book Thief' is over fourteen hours long in audiobook format. It's taken my a long time to get through it. Plus, it is a little weird to curl up with your iPod in bed at night. Twice I feel asleep listening to it. All that being said, I did like the book. The story itself is pretty sad so I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation read but it is a good winter story. I always get a little down in the dumps at this time of the year so I'm glad that I read it now. View all my reviews >>
